Easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher, the pans are compatible with any hob, including induction. My non stick ones are only a few years old and they need throwing out because the coating is scratched, marked and flaking. In addition while the frying pans have a Teflon non-stick surface, the saucepans do not and they are certainly not non-stick. As we had fully commited to this set due to a new hob, we have no other pans - leaving us unable to cook on the hob in the meantime. Also if you cook with them attached there is a risk that they will burn so they have to be taken off during the cooking process. I rate this set for families that have little space and with young children who might find pan handles dangerous.
