I should also note while there is strapping outside for “extra gear”, the pack doesn’t carry well when you’re loading on more than you could carry inside it.

It is hard to believe, but the hip belt is also with dual zippered pockets, this is always useful to have.

The Talon 11 is a part of a famous Osprey’s series which has been on the market for many years already. I say this with confidence, as I’ve had my Osprey Aether 70 L rucksack for 6 years now and it is still going strong, having been around the world on various expeditions along with many of their dry bags and accessories. This is because you do not have any frame here, bear this in mind when you see that it is designed for the weight of up to 20 lb (9 kg); I would not go to such limits with this pack.
